Second Edition offers a diverse range of styles and brands at affordable prices, including European design brands such as Bash, Maje and Sezane. The store's personalized service and commitment to quality and authenticity have made it a go-to destination for sustainable fashion in the area.
SINCE 2020
Second Edition
In the Summer of 2020, combining their diverse backgrounds and skills, long-time friends Isabelle and Christine founded Second Edition. Isabelle has 20 years of experience in luxury and trendy retail brands, having worked with brands such as Dior, Gucci, Anya Hindmarch, The Webster and Sezane. Christine, has a financial and project management background and has lived in Paris, London, NYC, and Tokyo.
The Fashion Industry's negative impact on the environment sparked Isabelle's dream of opening her own store. Fast Fashion's overproduction cannot always be recycled and therefore ends up in landfills or is destroyed. Christine, who had been looking to start a purposeful business, shared Isabelle's desire to reduce Fashion's negative impact on the planet, to benefit their children's future. Their shared love for fashion and passion for sustainability led them to create Second Edition.
Since its inception, Second Edition has grown from organizing frequent Pop-Up events to opening a permanent Boutique in Scarsdale, New York, and still hosts Pop-Up events in the area from time to time.

We believe that clothing doesn't have to be disposable but should be re-loved and accessible. We aim to accomplish this by connecting consignors with fashion-forward individuals looking for preloved treasures, extending the life of beautiful pieces, and keeping them out of landfills.
